Responsibility
- Supervise daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping of goods.
- Ensure inventory accuracy by conducting regular audits, cycle counts, and reconciliations.
- Lead, train, and motivate a team of warehouse staff to achieve productivity and performance targets.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols, workplace policies, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Coordinate with logistics, procurement, and production teams to optimize workflow and minimize delays.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as order fulfillment rates, inventory turnover, and error rates.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements, cost reductions, and efficiency enhancements in warehouse operations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant warehouse environment in accordance with industry regulations.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in warehouse supervision or a similar leadership role.
- Proven track record of managing inventory, logistics, and warehouse operations in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train, mentor, and motivate a team.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory software.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
- Knowledge of safety regulations, OSHA standards, and best practices in warehouse operations.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities effectively.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in logistics or supply chain management are a plus.
