Responsibility
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and shipping goods.
- Manage and lead a team of warehouse staff, providing training, guidance, and performance evaluations.
- Ensure accurate inventory management, conducting regular audits and reconciliations.
- Monitor and maintain warehouse safety standards, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Coordinate with logistics and transportation teams to optimize shipment schedules and reduce delays.
- Implement and improve warehouse processes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to senior management.
- Resolve any operational issues or discrepancies in a timely and effective manner.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in warehouse supervision or a similar role in logistics or supply chain management.
- Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety protocols and best practices.
- Strong communication skills to liaise with internal teams and external partners.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Diploma or degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is a plus.
