Responsibility
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, and distribution of lubricants and chemical products.
- Maintain high levels of inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and meticulous record-keeping.
- Lead and mentor warehouse staff to ensure productivity targets are met and safety protocols are strictly followed.
- Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely order fulfillment and delivery.
- Implement and monitor workplace safety (OSH) standards to ensure a hazard-free working environment.
- Utilize warehouse management software to track stock movements and generate operational reports for management.
- Optimize warehouse space utilization and storage layouts for maximum efficiency.
- Handle troubleshooting for any discrepancies in shipments or warehouse equipment maintenance issues.
Qualifications
- Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of proven experience in a warehouse or logistics supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of inventory control procedures and warehouse management best practices.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiar with inventory management software systems.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills in Malay and English.
- Willingness to work in the Johor Bahru area and adhere to operational shift requirements.
