Responsibility
- Conduct regular physical inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies to ensure accurate stock levels.
- Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and production teams to resolve inventory issues and optimize stock movement.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date records of inventory transactions, including receipts, issuances, and adjustments.
- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory levels, generate reports, and monitor stock movements.
- Implement and adhere to safety and security protocols to ensure a hazard-free warehouse environment.
- Assist in the organization and maintenance of warehouse layout to maximize space utilization and efficiency.
- Coordinate with suppliers and internal departments to facilitate timely receipt and dispatch of goods.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to streamline warehouse processes and reduce operational costs.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in logistics or inventory management is a plus.
- Proven experience in warehouse operations, inventory control, or a related field.
- Proficiency in using inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that may involve lifting, standing, or moving for extended periods.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in warehouse operations.
