Responsibility
- Develop and execute strategic procurement plans to optimize costs, quality, and delivery timelines for materials and services.
- Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms while maintaining strong vendor relationships.
- Analyze market trends, demand forecasts, and inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability and minimize excess or obsolete inventory.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams (e.g., logistics, finance, operations) to align procurement strategies with business objectives.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as cost savings, supplier performance, and inventory turnover.
- Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, including disruptions, lead time variability, and quality issues.
- Implement and maintain procurement systems and tools to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities for process optimization and automation.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in procurement, buying, or supply chain planning, preferably in manufacturing or logistics.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Proven experience in supplier negotiation, contract management, and vendor relationship building.
- Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and procurement software tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and cultures.
- Certification in procurement or supply chain (e.g., CSCP, CPSM) is a plus.
- Ability to work independently in a remote/hybrid environment with a high degree of accountability.
