Responsibility

  • Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems (WMS) to ensure real-time stock visibility.
  • Conduct regular cycle counts, physical inventories, and audits to identify and resolve discrepancies promptly.
  • Collaborate with warehouse teams to optimize stock placement, reduce picking errors, and improve operational efficiency.
  • Generate and analyze inventory reports to forecast demand, prevent stockouts, and minimize excess inventory.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory variances, including damaged, lost, or misplaced items, in compliance with company policies.
  • Support the implementation of inventory control best practices, including FIFO (First-In-First-Out) and FEFO (First-Expired-First-Out) methodologies.
  • Assist in the coordination of inbound and outbound logistics to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
  • Train and guide warehouse staff on inventory procedures, safety protocols, and system usage to maintain high standards.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience (1-3 years) in inventory control, warehouse operations, or supply chain management, preferably in manufacturing or logistics.
  • Proficiency in using inventory management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or WMS) and Microsoft Excel for data analysis.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and recommend process improvements.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic understanding of logistics principles, including inventory valuation, stock rotation, and warehouse safety standards.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
  • Strong communication skills in English to collaborate with cross-functional teams and report findings effectively.
  • Certification in inventory management (e.g., CPIM, CSCP) or relevant training is a plus but not required.
