Responsibility
- Execute end-to-end indirect sourcing activities, including supplier identification, evaluation, and selection.
- Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to achieve cost savings and favorable payment terms.
- Monitor and evaluate supplier performance, ensuring compliance with quality, delivery, and cost standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align sourcing strategies with business needs and operational goals.
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies to optimize supply chain efficiency and reduce operational costs.
- Analyze market trends and supplier capabilities to identify opportunities for process improvements.
- Maintain accurate records of sourcing activities, contracts, and supplier performance metrics.
- Support sustainability initiatives by identifying and engaging with environmentally responsible suppliers.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills with a proven track record of achieving cost savings.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and market trends.
- Proficiency in procurement software and tools, such as ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain supplier relationships.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
- Knowledge of sustainability practices in sourcing and supply chain management is a plus.
