Responsibility
- Develop and implement inventory management strategies to optimize stock levels and reduce excess inventory.
- Monitor and analyze inventory data to forecast demand and prevent stockouts or overstock situations.
- Coordinate with procurement, warehousing, and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and products.
- Conduct regular audits to maintain accuracy of inventory records and resolve discrepancies.
- Utilize ERP or inventory management software to track and report on inventory performance.
- Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to negotiate terms and improve lead times.
- Prepare and present reports on inventory metrics, trends, and improvement opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations related to inventory management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in inventory planning, supply chain, or logistics roles.
- Proficiency in inventory management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Knowledge of lean inventory principles and demand forecasting techniques.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Certification in supply chain management (e.g., CPIM, CSCP) is a plus.
