Responsibility
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, picking, packing, and dispatching activities.
- Supervise, train, and mentor warehouse staff to ensure high productivity and adherence to company policies.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular cycle counts to minimize discrepancies.
- Enforce strict health and safety protocols (OSHA standards) to ensure a secure working environment for all team members.
- Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams to manage stock levels and fulfill customer orders promptly.
- Implement and improve warehouse workflow processes to optimize space utilization and operational throughput.
- Manage warehouse equipment maintenance schedules to prevent downtime.
- Generate periodic performance reports for management regarding operational KPIs.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a warehouse supervisory or lead role.
- Strong knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory software.
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, and manage a team effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Solid understanding of supply chain logistics, inventory control, and safety regulations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure.
- Ability to work shifts or flexible hours as required by warehouse demands.
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is an advantage.
