Responsibility
- Manage and maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems.
- Receive, inspect, and store incoming goods, ensuring proper documentation and labeling.
- Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery and distribution of goods.
- Conduct regular stock checks and audits to identify discrepancies and resolve issues promptly.
- Organize and maintain the warehouse layout to optimize space utilization and ensure easy access to items.
- Prepare and process orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
- Monitor and report on inventory levels, providing recommendations for restocking as needed.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in logistics or warehouse management is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Storekeeper or in a similar role within the manufacturing, transport, or logistics industry.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to multitask effectively.
- Proficiency in using warehouse management software and Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping and inventory management.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with team members and other departments.
- Ability to lift and move heavy items, and perform physical tasks as required.
