Responsibility
- Receive, inspect, and log incoming shipments to ensure accuracy and quality.
- Organize and maintain inventory in designated storage areas, ensuring easy accessibility and proper labeling.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to customer specifications and company procedures.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks safely and efficiently.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies to maintain accurate stock levels.
- Assist in loading and unloading delivery trucks, ensuring timely and secure handling of goods.
- Maintain a clean and hazard-free work environment by adhering to safety protocols and housekeeping standards.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to streamline warehouse operations and improve productivity.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in logistics or warehouse operations is a plus.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment is preferred but not required.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage inventory accurately.
- Basic computer skills for data entry and inventory management systems.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
- Willingness to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
