Responsibility
- Manage the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods in accordance with FIFO and FEFO principles.
- Ensure accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock checks to prevent discrepancies.
- Coordinate with the logistics team to facilitate timely and efficient shipments.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment in compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, safely and efficiently.
- Assist in the preparation of shipping documents and ensure all orders are accurately fulfilled.
- Report any issues or discrepancies to the warehouse supervisor promptly.
- Collaborate with team members to improve warehouse processes and efficiency.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in logistics or warehouse management is a plus.
- Proven experience in a warehouse or logistics role is preferred.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects safely.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is an advantage.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
