Responsibility
- Read and interpret order slips and picklists to accurately determine items to be picked.
- Locate and pick items from designated warehouse locations using manual or automated equipment.
- Ensure the accuracy and quality of picked items by verifying product codes, quantities, and conditions.
- Pack and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring they are securely and correctly packaged.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, adhering to safety and hygiene standards.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, or hand trucks as required.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily picking and shipping targets.
- Report any discrepancies, damages, or issues with inventory to the warehouse supervisor.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in logistics or warehouse operations is a plus.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment is preferred but not required.
- Ability to read and interpret order slips, picklists, and inventory reports.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in picking and packing orders.
- Physical fitness and ability to lift and move heavy items (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly.
- Basic computer skills for inventory management systems.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Willingness to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
