Responsibility
- Supervise and lead a team of inventory staff to ensure accurate stock tracking and reporting.
- Develop and implement inventory control procedures to minimize loss, shrinkage, and discrepancies.
- Conduct regular audits and cycle counts to maintain data integrity in the inventory management system.
- Collaborate with procurement, production, and logistics teams to align inventory levels with demand forecasts.
- Monitor and analyze inventory turnover ratios, identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards in all inventory-related activities.
- Prepare and present detailed reports on inventory status, variances, and performance metrics to senior management.
- Train and mentor staff on best practices in inventory management, including the use of ERP/WMS systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in inventory control, warehouse management, or a similar role, with at least 2 years in a supervisory capacity.
- Strong proficiency in inventory management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Proven ability to lead and motivate teams in a fast-paced manufacturing or logistics environment.
- Familiarity with food safety standards (e.g., HACCP, ISO) and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across departments.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.
