Responsibility
- Accurately pick, pack, and label products according to order specifications and company guidelines.
- Ensure all packaged items meet quality standards and are free from damage before shipment.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment, such as hand trucks or pallet jacks, to move goods safely.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to optimize efficiency and adhere to safety protocols.
- Assist in loading and unloading delivery trucks, ensuring timely dispatch and receipt of goods.
- Follow inventory control procedures to track stock levels and report discrepancies to supervisors.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily packing targets and maintain workflow continuity.
- Adhere to all workplace safety regulations, including wearing required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
Qualifications
- Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 20 kg repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills to read order sheets and verify product quantities.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in packing and labeling.
- Reliable and punctual, with a commitment to fulfilling scheduled shifts.
- Prior experience in warehousing, logistics, or a similar role is a plus but not required.
- Own safety shoes are mandatory for this role (as per company policy).
- Good communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Willingness to work in a physically demanding environment and adapt to varying workloads.
