Responsibility
- Receive, inspect, and process incoming seafood shipments with accuracy and attention to quality.
- Organize and maintain inventory in designated storage areas, ensuring proper rotation and freshness.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment, adhering to strict deadlines and quality control standards.
- Operate warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) safely and efficiently.
- Conduct regular stock checks and report discrepancies to supervisors.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free warehouse environment in compliance with safety regulations.
- Assist in loading and unloading delivery trucks, ensuring proper handling of perishable goods.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational targets and improve workflow efficiency.
Qualifications
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; prior warehouse or logistics experience is a plus.
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy items (up to 25 kg) and stand for extended periods.
- Basic understanding of inventory management and warehouse operations.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced, cold storage environment.
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety.
- Ability to follow instructions and work both independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with seafood handling practices is advantageous but not required.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings or weekends, as needed.
