Responsibility
- Receive, inspect, and accurately log incoming seafood shipments, ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.
- Operate warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) safely and efficiently to move, stack, and organize inventory.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment, verifying accuracy and completeness before dispatch.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free warehouse environment in accordance with food safety regulations.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies to ensure stock accuracy.
- Assist in loading and unloading delivery trucks, adhering to proper handling procedures for perishable goods.
- Follow standardized operating procedures (SOPs) for temperature control, storage, and rotation of seafood products.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily productivity targets and support ad-hoc warehouse tasks as needed.
Qualifications
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; prior warehouse or logistics experience is a plus.
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy items (up to 25 kg) and stand for extended periods.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills for inventory tracking and documentation.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) or inventory software is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining hygiene and safety standards.
- Ability to work in cold storage environments and adapt to varying temperatures.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills in a multicultural setting.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including early mornings, weekends, or holidays as required.
