Responsibility
- Operate and maintain warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, to ensure efficient movement of goods.
- Receive, inspect, and log incoming shipments, ensuring accuracy and completeness of orders.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment, adhering to company standards and customer requirements.
- Maintain inventory records and conduct regular stock checks to ensure accuracy and prevent discrepancies.
- Coordinate with logistics and transportation teams to schedule deliveries and optimize warehouse operations.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies to maintain a secure working environment.
- Assist in the organization and cleanliness of the warehouse to promote efficiency and safety.
- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) and other software tools to track inventory and manage operations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in logistics or warehouse management is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Operator or in a similar role within the logistics or manufacturing industry.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory software.
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks; certification is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage inventory accurately.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects, as the role may require manual labor.
