Responsibility
- Load, unload, and move materials and products within the warehouse or production area.
- Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks safely and efficiently.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure materials are stored in designated locations.
- Inspect materials for damage or defects and report any discrepancies to supervisors.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Assist in the preparation of shipments and ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production and distribution targets.
- Perform general housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; prior experience in material handling or warehousing is a plus.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and inventory management.
- Familiarity with material handling equipment (training will be provided if needed).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays if required.
- Valid driver’s license or forklift certification is an advantage.
