Responsibility
- Oversee and manage Air & Ocean Freight operations, ensuring timely and cost-effective shipments.
- Coordinate import/export activities, including customs clearance and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Lead and mentor a team of logistics professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, carriers, and customs authorities.
- Monitor and optimize supply chain processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Prepare and review documentation, including bills of lading, invoices, and customs declarations.
- Resolve any issues or delays in shipments, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in freight forwarding.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Air & Ocean Freight operations, with a focus on import/export.
- Proven experience in team leadership and management within a logistics environment.
- Fluency in Mandarin (spoken and written) is mandatory for this role.
- Strong knowledge of customs regulations, compliance, and documentation requirements.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite.
