Responsibility
- Collect, sort, and arrange wastepaper, pallets, and other materials in accordance with company policies and environmental regulations.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse, including gates, surrounding areas, and storage spaces.
- Assist in the scrapping and disposal of materials, ensuring compliance with HSSE standards and local regulations.
- Support housekeeping activities to ensure a safe and hygienic work environment for all staff.
- Conduct regular inspections of warehouse facilities to identify and report any potential hazards or maintenance needs.
- Collaborate with the logistics team to ensure smooth operations and efficient handling of goods.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to minimize risks and promote a culture of safety within the warehouse.
- Assist in the implementation of facility improvement projects as directed by management.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in warehouse operations or HSSE is a plus.
- Proven experience in warehouse operations, facility maintenance, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of health, safety, security, and environmental (HSSE) practices.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems and basic computer skills.
- Willingness to work in a contract role with potential for extension based on performance.
