Responsibility
- Assist in the procurement of materials and services by preparing purchase orders and coordinating with suppliers.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, deliveries, and inventory levels to ensure timely availability of resources.
- Liaise with vendors to negotiate prices, track orders, and resolve any discrepancies or issues.
- Support the administrative functions of the operations team, including data entry, filing, and document management.
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure smooth communication and alignment on procurement needs.
- Monitor supplier performance and provide feedback to management for continuous improvement.
- Assist in the preparation of reports and presentations related to purchasing and administrative activities.
- Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned to support the overall operations of the company.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or administrative roles.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for liaising with suppliers and internal teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and basic ERP systems.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Familiarity with manufacturing or logistics industries is a plus.
