Responsibility
- Lead the development and execution of centralized production planning strategies to meet demand forecasts and operational targets.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams (production, procurement, logistics) to ensure material availability and on-time delivery.
- Monitor and optimize capacity utilization across manufacturing lines to prevent downtime and maximize efficiency.
- Analyze production data, identify trends, and implement process improvements to enhance scheduling accuracy.
- Oversee inventory management systems to balance stock levels, minimize waste, and reduce carrying costs.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align production schedules with sales, customer orders, and supply chain constraints.
- Prepare and present reports on planning performance, KPIs, and actionable insights for senior management.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives by evaluating workflows, tools, and methodologies in centralized planning.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or supply chain coordination, preferably in manufacturing.
- Strong proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle), MRP tools, and advanced Excel (pivot tables, macros).
- Proven ability to analyze complex data sets and derive actionable insights for operational decision-making.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to align cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process optimization frameworks is a plus.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple priorities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing business needs.
