Responsibility
- Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping of goods.
- Ensure accurate inventory management through regular audits, cycle counts, and reconciliation of discrepancies.
- Lead, train, and motivate a team of warehouse staff to achieve KPIs in productivity, accuracy, and safety.
- Implement and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) to maintain compliance with company and regulatory standards.
- Optimize warehouse layout and workflows to improve efficiency and reduce operational costs.
- Monitor and report on key performance metrics, such as order fulfillment rates, turnaround times, and inventory accuracy.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., procurement, transportation) to streamline logistics processes.
- Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) protocols to maintain a secure working environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Relevant experience may substitute for formal education.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in warehouse operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Proven ability to manage teams, delegate tasks, and resolve conflicts effectively.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control best practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify inefficiencies and implement solutions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and data analysis tools.
- Familiarity with lean logistics principles and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Kaizen).
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
