Responsibility
- Lead and conduct internal and external quality audits to ensure compliance with ISO, industry standards, and company policies.
- Manage the Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) process, including root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Investigate and resolve customer complaints with a focus on preventive measures and customer satisfaction.
- Oversee inspection processes for incoming materials, in-process production, and finished goods to maintain quality benchmarks.
- Develop, implement, and maintain Quality Management System (QMS) improvements, including documentation and procedural updates.
- Ensure document control adherence, including version management, approvals, and distribution of quality-related documents.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify quality trends, risks, and opportunities for process enhancement.
- Train and mentor staff on quality standards, tools, and methodologies to foster a culture of quality excellence.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in quality engineering, preferably in manufacturing, transport, or logistics.
- In-depth knowledge of QMS frameworks (ISO 9001, IATF 16949) and quality tools (e.g., 8D, 5 Why, FMEA).
- Proven experience in leading audits, RMA processes, and complaint resolution.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and drive data-driven decision-making.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in document control systems and quality software (e.g., SAP, Minitab).
- Certifications such as Six Sigma (Green Belt/Black Belt), CQE (Certified Quality Engineer) are highly advantageous.
