Responsibility
- Manage and maintain accurate inventory records of tools, equipment, and supplies in the warehouse.
- Receive, inspect, and log incoming shipments, ensuring all items meet quality and quantity specifications.
- Organize and store tools and materials in designated areas, optimizing space and accessibility for efficient retrieval.
- Process and fulfill requests for tools and equipment from maintenance teams, ensuring timely delivery.
- Conduct regular stock audits and cycle counts to prevent discrepancies and maintain inventory accuracy.
- Operate warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) safely and in compliance with company policies.
- Collaborate with procurement and logistics teams to coordinate restocking and supply chain activities.
- Adhere to all safety, security, and compliance protocols to ensure a hazard-free work environment.
Qualifications
- Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent; vocational training in logistics or warehouse management is a plus.
- Proven experience in warehouse operations, inventory management, or tool crib management, preferably in aviation or manufacturing sectors.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with numerical data and inventory systems.
- Physical stamina to lift and move heavy items (up to 25 kg) and perform tasks in a standing/walking position for extended periods.
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work shift schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Familiarity with aviation industry standards and safety regulations is highly desirable.
