Responsibility
- Supervise and coordinate daily shipping operations, ensuring on-time dispatch and delivery of manufactured goods.
- Lead, mentor, and train a team of shipping executives and warehouse staff to meet performance targets.
- Oversee order processing, packaging, labeling, and documentation to comply with local and international shipping regulations.
- Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with procurement to prevent stockouts or excess.
- Implement and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) for shipping, handling, and storage.
- Liaise with carriers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to negotiate rates and resolve logistics challenges.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as delivery times, cost efficiency, and error rates, and report to management.
- Ensure workplace safety and adherence to manufacturing and logistics industry standards.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in shipping, logistics, or warehouse operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Proven track record in manufacturing logistics, including familiarity with production schedules and just-in-time (JIT) delivery.
- Strong knowledge of shipping documentation (e.g., bills of lading, commercial invoices, packing lists) and customs procedures.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills to manage teams and resolve operational bottlenecks.
- Proficiency in logistics software (e.g., ERP, WMS, TMS) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken); knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
