Responsibility
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, and dispatch of marine cargo.
- Coordinate with port authorities, customs brokers, and shipping agents to ensure smooth logistics flow.
- Manage inventory accuracy through regular audits and cycle counts, minimizing discrepancies.
- Optimize warehouse layout and processes to improve efficiency and reduce operational costs.
- Ensure compliance with local and international maritime regulations and safety standards.
- Lead a team of warehouse staff, providing training and performance feedback to drive productivity.
- Prepare and submit reports on warehouse KPIs, including turnaround times, inventory levels, and cost savings.
- Collaborate with procurement and sales teams to align warehouse operations with business goals.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in warehouse management or port logistics, preferably in the marine industry.
- Strong knowledge of customs procedures, import/export regulations, and maritime logistics.
- Proficient in warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while meeting tight deadlines.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience supervising warehouse staff.
- Fluency in English; additional languages (Bahasa Indonesia, Mandarin) are a plus.
- Certification in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is advantageous.
