Responsibility
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping of goods to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing warehouse team, fostering a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.
- Implement and optimize warehouse management systems (WMS) to enhance inventory tracking, space utilization, and order fulfillment efficiency.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as order accuracy, on-time delivery, and inventory turnover to drive operational excellence.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, conducting regular audits and training sessions.
- Collaborate with procurement, production, and logistics teams to align warehouse activities with business objectives and demand forecasts.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for warehouse processes, ensuring consistency and scalability.
- Manage budgetary responsibilities, including cost control, resource allocation, and capital expenditure planning for warehouse equipment and infrastructure.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse operations, with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role.
- Proven track record of improving warehouse efficiency, reducing operational costs, and enhancing team productivity.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory control, and lean logistics principles.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ERP systems; experience with SAP or Oracle is advantageous.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, adapt to changing priorities, and meet tight deadlines.
