Responsibility
- Oversee and manage daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and dispatching goods.
- Ensure accurate inventory management, conducting regular audits and reconciliations to minimize discrepancies.
- Lead, train, and supervise warehouse staff, fostering a culture of accountability, efficiency, and safety.
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance productivity, reduce operational costs, and streamline workflows.
- Coordinate with logistics and transportation teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
- Maintain compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, conducting regular inspections and risk assessments.
- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory levels, monitor performance metrics, and generate reports.
- Collaborate with procurement and supply chain teams to optimize stock levels and reduce excess inventory.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse operations, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- Proven track record of improving warehouse efficiency, reducing costs, and enhancing team performance.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control best practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with health, safety, and environmental regulations in warehouse settings.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data analysis tools.
