Responsibility
- Oversee daily operations of the Distribution Centre, ensuring efficient receiving, storing, and dispatching of goods.
- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance productivity and accuracy.
- Monitor inventory levels and conduct regular audits to ensure stock accuracy and minimize discrepancies.
- Lead, train, and mentor warehouse staff to maintain high performance and adherence to safety standards.
- Coordinate with procurement, sales, and transportation teams to optimize supply chain processes.
- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory, generate reports, and analyze operational performance.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations within the warehouse.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce operational costs and improve service delivery.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse or distribution centre management.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control processes.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to optimize warehouse operations.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations in a warehouse environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
