Responsibility
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping of goods.
- Manage and lead a team of warehouse staff, ensuring high productivity, efficiency, and adherence to safety protocols.
- Implement and maintain inventory control systems to track stock levels, minimize discrepancies, and optimize space utilization.
- Develop and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) to streamline workflows and improve operational efficiency.
- Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and distribution teams to ensure seamless supply chain operations.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as order accuracy, fulfillment speed, and inventory turnover.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations to maintain a secure working environment.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost-saving initiatives to enhance warehouse performance.
Qualifications
- Proven experience (3+ years) in warehouse management, logistics, or supply chain operations, preferably in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control best practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills.
- Ability to analyze data and generate actionable insights to drive operational improvements.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations, including OSHA or equivalent standards.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) and ERP systems.
- Problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and efficiency.
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is a plus.
