Responsibility
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping of goods to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Manage and maintain inventory accuracy through regular audits, cycle counts, and reconciliation with system records.
- Coordinate with logistics teams to optimize shipment schedules, reduce lead times, and minimize transportation costs.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols, ensuring compliance with local and international warehouse safety standards.
- Lead, train, and supervise warehouse staff, fostering a culture of accountability, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory levels, generate reports, and analyze data for process improvements.
- Collaborate with procurement and sales teams to forecast demand, manage stock levels, and prevent overstock or stockouts.
- Resolve operational bottlenecks and implement lean warehouse practices to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., CSCP, CPIM) are a plus.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in warehouse operations, inventory management, or logistics coordination, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Proven expertise in using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and ERP software. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools is required.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing warehouse team.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on process optimization and cost reduction.
- In-depth knowledge of inventory control best practices, including FIFO, LIFO, and just-in-time (JIT) methodologies.
- Familiarity with safety regulations (e.g., OSHA, local Indonesian standards) and experience in conducting safety training.
- Fluent in English (written and verbal); proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is an advantage.
