Responsibility
- Assist Warehouse Executives in managing inventory levels, ensuring accuracy and timely updates in the system.
- Coordinate the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods, adhering to company policies and safety regulations.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of warehouse activities, including shipment records, stock movements, and inventory reports.
- Conduct regular stock audits and reconcile discrepancies to ensure data integrity.
- Collaborate with logistics and procurement teams to optimize warehouse space and improve operational efficiency.
- Monitor and report on inventory levels to prevent stockouts or overstock situations.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards within the warehouse.
- Assist in the preparation of shipment documentation and coordinate with transport providers for timely deliveries.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in warehouse operations, inventory management, or a similar role.
- Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities to address inventory discrepancies.
- Effective communication skills to liaise with internal teams, suppliers, and transport providers.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations related to warehouse operations.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional weekends or overtime, as required.
