Responsibility
- Conduct thorough inspections of furniture products at various production stages to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Identify defects, inconsistencies, or deviations in materials, finishes, and assembly.
- Document and report quality issues, providing clear feedback to production teams for corrective action.
- Perform functional and durability tests on furniture items to verify structural integrity.
- Collaborate with production and design teams to improve manufacturing processes and reduce defects.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, test results, and quality metrics.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and industry regulations during inspections.
- Assist in training new staff on quality control procedures and best practices.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in quality control, preferably in furniture or woodworking industries.
- Strong understanding of furniture manufacturing processes, materials, and finishes.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in using inspection tools (e.g., calipers, moisture meters, durability testers).
- Good communication skills to report findings and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Certification in quality assurance (e.g., ISO 9001) is a plus.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced production environment.
