Responsibility
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping of golf equipment and accessories.
- Manage and optimize inventory levels using advanced warehouse management systems (WMS) to ensure accuracy and minimize discrepancies.
- Lead, train, and mentor a team of warehouse staff, fostering a culture of efficiency, safety, and accountability.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to enhance productivity, reduce errors, and improve overall workflow.
- Collaborate with procurement, sales, and logistics teams to align warehouse activities with business objectives and customer demands.
- Ensure compliance with local and international safety regulations, maintaining a secure and hazard-free work environment.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as order fulfillment rates, inventory turnover, and delivery timelines, and report findings to senior management.
- Coordinate with third-party logistics providers and freight forwarders to streamline inbound and outbound shipments.
Qualifications
- Proven experience (3+ years) in warehouse management or supervision, preferably in the sports equipment, manufacturing, or logistics industry.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
- Knowledge of inventory control techniques, including cycle counting, FIFO/LIFO, and stock rotation.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations, including OSHA or equivalent standards.
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal, with the ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
- Certification in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is a plus.
