Responsibility
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies for spare parts to optimize cost, quality, and delivery performance.
- Analyze market trends, supplier capabilities, and pricing data to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to secure favorable pricing and service levels.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Procurement, Operations, Logistics) to align sourcing strategies with business needs.
- Monitor supplier performance and conduct regular reviews to ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
- Leverage data analytics tools to forecast demand and optimize inventory levels for critical spares.
- Lead risk assessment initiatives to mitigate supply chain disruptions and ensure business continuity.
- Prepare reports and presentations for senior management on sourcing performance and strategic recommendations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management, with a focus on spare parts or MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Operations).
- Proven track record in supplier negotiation, contract management, and cost optimization.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Power BI, or Tableau).
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and procurement software.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence decision-making.
- Certification in procurement (e.g., CIPS, CSCP) is a plus.
- Ability to work independently in a hybrid/remote environment while maintaining high productivity.
