Responsibility
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing lists to ensure accuracy and quality.
- Operate material handling equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) safely and efficiently to move, store, and retrieve inventory.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment to meet customer demands.
- Maintain organized and clean warehouse spaces, including labeling, stock rotation, and adherence to FIFO (First-In, First-Out) principles.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies, reporting any issues to the logistics supervisor.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production and procurement, to coordinate material flow and support operational needs.
- Follow all safety protocols, including proper lifting techniques and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory levels, update records, and generate reports as required.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in warehouse operations, material handling, or a related logistics role.
- Proven ability to operate material handling equipment (certification for forklifts or other machinery is a plus).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inventory management and order fulfillment.
- Physical ability to lift and move items weighing up to 25 kg (55 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
- Basic proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) or enterprise resource planning (ERP) software.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in logistics or supply chain management are advantageous.
