Responsibility
- Develop, implement, and monitor EHS policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local and international regulations.
- Conduct regular safety audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions.
- Lead safety training programs for employees, contractors, and management to promote a culture of safety awareness.
- Oversee the implementation of ISO 45001 (Occupational Health & Safety) and ISO 14001 (Environmental Management) standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate safety best practices into daily operations.
- Maintain accurate records of EHS performance metrics, incidents, and compliance documentation.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory agencies and external auditors.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance workplace safety and environmental sustainability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Occupational Safety, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in EHS roles within manufacturing or industrial settings.
- Certification in ISO 45001, ISO 14001, or equivalent EHS standards is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of local and international EHS regulations and compliance requirements.
- Proven experience in conducting risk assessments, safety audits, and incident investigations.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to influence safety culture across all levels of the organization.
- Ability to analyze data, prepare reports, and present findings to senior management.
- Proficiency in EHS management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
