Responsibility
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and dispatching goods to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Develop and implement material planning strategies to align inventory levels with production and demand forecasts.
- Coordinate with procurement, production, and logistics teams to optimize supply chain workflows and minimize delays.
- Monitor stock levels, conduct cycle counts, and reconcile discrepancies to maintain data integrity in inventory systems.
- Organize warehouse layout and storage systems to maximize space utilization and facilitate easy retrieval of materials.
- Prepare and process shipping documentation, including bills of lading, packing lists, and delivery notes.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards in all warehouse activities.
- Generate reports on warehouse performance, inventory turnover, and logistics metrics for management review.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in warehouse operations, material planning, or logistics coordination.
- Proficient in inventory management software (e.g., ERP, WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify inefficiencies and propose improvements.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
- Familiarity with lean warehouse principles, Just-in-Time (JIT) inventory, or 5S methodology is a plus.
- Effective communication skills in English (written and verbal) to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team, with a hands-on approach to operational tasks.
- Certification in logistics, supply chain management, or related fields is advantageous.
