Responsibility
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping of goods to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Implement and maintain a Warehouse Management System (WMS) to track inventory levels, reduce discrepancies, and improve data accuracy.
- Lead, train, and motivate a team of warehouse staff, fostering a culture of productivity, safety, and continuous improvement.
- Optimize warehouse layout and storage systems to maximize space utilization and minimize operational costs.
- Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and distribution teams to ensure timely order fulfillment and delivery.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as order accuracy, turnaround time, and inventory turnover.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards, conducting regular audits and risk assessments.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to streamline workflows and enhance operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., CSCP, CPIM) are a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse management, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Proven expertise in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory control software.
- Strong knowledge of logistics, distribution, and supply chain best practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills to manage teams and resolve operational challenges.
- Ability to analyze data and generate actionable insights to drive process improvements.
- Familiarity with lean warehouse principles, 5S methodology, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) and ERP systems.
