Responsibility
- Develop and implement strategic procurement plans to optimize supply chain efficiency and cost savings.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers to secure the best value for the organization.
- Manage inventory levels, ensuring adequate stock while minimizing excess and obsolescence.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast demand and align procurement activities with business objectives.
- Evaluate supplier performance and conduct regular reviews to maintain high-quality standards.
- Identify and mitigate risks in the supply chain to ensure continuity of operations.
- Monitor market trends and industry developments to leverage opportunities for cost reduction and innovation.
- Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, contracts, and inventory transactions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or inventory management, preferably in a multinational environment.
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills with a proven track record of cost savings.
- Proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to optimize supply chain processes.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain supplier relationships.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Certification in procurement (e.g., CPSM, CIPS) is a plus.
