Responsibility
- Coordinate and manage end-to-end import operations, including documentation, customs clearance, and shipment tracking.
- Liaise with suppliers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.
- Prepare and verify import documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, and certificates of origin.
- Monitor and resolve any issues related to shipments, delays, or compliance to minimize disruptions.
- Maintain accurate records of import transactions, costs, and inventory levels.
- Collaborate with internal departments to align import activities with production and sales schedules.
- Stay updated on international trade regulations, tariffs, and industry best practices.
- Generate reports on import activities, performance metrics, and areas for improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in import operations, logistics, or supply chain management.
- Strong knowledge of customs regulations, import procedures, and international trade compliance.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with ERP or logistics software is a plus.
- Effective communication and negotiation skills in English.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to process improvements.
