Responsibility
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and dispatching goods.
- Manage and lead a team of warehouse staff, ensuring high productivity and adherence to SOPs.
- Implement and maintain inventory control systems to minimize discrepancies and stockouts.
- Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and sales teams to streamline order fulfillment.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations in the warehouse.
- Optimize space utilization and layout for efficient material handling.
- Prepare and present performance reports, KPIs, and improvement recommendations to management.
- Resolve operational issues and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in warehouse management, preferably in manufacturing or logistics sectors.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate teams.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory software.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with international shipping, customs regulations, and cross-border logistics.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Willingness to relocate to Papua New Guinea or Vanuatu (relocation assistance provided).
