Responsibility
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and shipping of goods.
- Ensure accurate inventory management and conduct regular audits to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Lead and supervise warehouse staff, providing training and guidance to enhance performance.
- Implement and maintain warehouse safety protocols and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Optimize warehouse space utilization and layout to improve efficiency and reduce operational costs.
- Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and sales teams to ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Monitor and report on warehouse performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement.
- Manage warehouse equipment and ensure proper maintenance and functionality.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager or in a similar leadership role within a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control procedures.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
- Proficiency in using warehouse management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
