Responsibility
- Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans to identify cost-effective, reliable suppliers for raw materials, components, and services.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with vendors to secure favorable agreements while ensuring quality and compliance standards.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels to align with production demands, minimizing stockouts and excess inventory.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams (e.g., production, finance, logistics) to ensure procurement activities support operational goals.
- Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, pricing fluctuations, and new supplier opportunities.
- Evaluate supplier performance using KPIs (e.g., delivery timeliness, quality, cost) and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Prepare and present procurement reports, including spend analysis, savings achievements, and risk assessments.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, ethical sourcing practices, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management, preferably in manufacturing or trading.
- Proven track record in supplier negotiation, contract management, and cost reduction strategies.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, ERP systems, or procurement software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with stakeholders and suppliers.
- Knowledge of incoterms, import/export regulations, and international trade practices is a plus.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken); proficiency in Indonesian is advantageous.
