Responsibility
- Conduct first article, in-process, and final inspections to ensure compliance with customer requirements and industry standards.
- Perform detailed visual and dimensional inspections using precision measuring tools and equipment.
- Document inspection results and maintain accurate records of quality control activities.
- Identify and report any non-conformities or defects, and work with production teams to implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve product quality and manufacturing processes.
- Ensure all products meet specified tolerances and quality criteria before shipment.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality control procedures.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a QA Inspector or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of quality control standards and inspection techniques.
- Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and CMM machines.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 or other quality management systems is a plus.
