Responsibility
- Oversee and manage all warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and dispatching goods to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
- Develop and implement logistics strategies to optimize the movement of raw materials, packaging, and finished products.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement and production teams to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards in all warehouse and distribution activities.
- Lead, train, and motivate warehouse staff to achieve performance targets and maintain a productive work environment.
- Collaborate with transportation providers to negotiate contracts, track shipments, and resolve any logistical issues.
- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory, generate reports, and improve operational visibility.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce expenses.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse, logistics, or distribution management, preferably in the manufacturing sector.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) software.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to optimize logistics processes and resolve operational challenges.
- Familiarity with health, safety, and quality regulations in warehouse and distribution operations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
