Responsibility
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and dispatching aerospace components and time-critical shipments.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure on-time delivery and adherence to strict aerospace industry standards.
- Manage inventory accuracy through regular audits, cycle counts, and real-time tracking using warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Optimize warehouse layout and workflows to enhance efficiency, reduce lead times, and minimize operational costs.
- Prepare and maintain documentation, including shipping manifests, customs paperwork, and compliance reports for international logistics.
- Monitor and resolve discrepancies in shipments, inventory levels, or documentation to prevent delays or errors.
- Collaborate with procurement and supply chain teams to forecast demand and align warehouse capacity with business needs.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and security protocols, including handling of hazardous materials (if applicable).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics coordination, or supply chain management, preferably in aerospace or time-critical industries.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) tools.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and multitasking skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) and data analysis tools.
- Familiarity with international shipping regulations, customs procedures, and aerospace logistics standards (e.g., IATA, ISO).
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with global teams, clients, and vendors.
