Responsibility
- Lead and supervise warehouse staff to ensure daily tasks are completed efficiently and on schedule.
- Coordinate the receiving, storing, and shipping of goods to maintain accurate inventory levels.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols to ensure a secure working environment for all team members.
- Monitor warehouse operations to identify areas for improvement and optimize workflow processes.
- Train and mentor new employees on warehouse procedures, equipment usage, and company policies.
- Liaise with other departments to ensure smooth coordination of logistics and inventory management.
- Conduct regular inventory audits to verify stock levels and report discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate records of warehouse activities, including shipments, receipts, and inventory adjustments.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in warehouse operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to lead and motivate a team.
- Knowledge of inventory management systems and warehouse software.
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in warehouse environments.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in logistics or supply chain management is a plus.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that may require lifting, standing, or walking for extended periods.
